Tonight I attended the very first Old Town Toast event. I love that there are so many networking events around Greater Lansing, but this social community always has room for one more. The new event, hosted by the Old Town Commercial Association (OTCA) Economic Restructuring Committee, gives attendees the chance to learn what’s new in Lansing’s Old Town while enjoying an adult beverage (or a soda). It’s also an opportunity to chat with the locals, business owners, and OTCA staff and committee members. If you’ve been to Old Town, you know this is a fun and interesting bunch and you may wind up talking about absolutely anything.

I’m told Old Town Toast will take place the second Tuesday of the month, although I’m not certain if it is always at Zoobie’s Old Town Tavern or if it will alternate between Zoobie’s and Sir Pizza Grand Cafe Old Town. Learn more by following Old Town Lansing on Facebook.
